You can make bowls with a faceplate but a Nova chuck works
a lot better.
what kind of chuck do i need to make bowls and stuff like that?
ok so i am looking into getting another lathe with a mt so i can make a pin chuck and make duck calls to sell in our gun shop i think i will go harbor frieght becuase i am very happy with the lathe i got from there and i think it will be just fine.

Apple is nice for turning, but my apple bowls get a lot more darker than yours after the oil. Maybe different kind of apple.. Thanks for the video! /Nic.
