i dont know if it will work, because i have soft hands nautrally, but you could use lotion, or gegt rid of calluses with those foot callus thingys, and when you do work, ytou could use gloves, and uhhhh….. wash your hands WITH soap normally. =-)
wear gloves
and use vaseline intensive rescue moisture locking lotion
but it doesnt really smell like anything but it works really well
when ur hands get better use the burts bees banana hand cream if you like the smell of bananas
get some U-lactin lotion. My dermatologist told me about it and it is the best. If that doesn’t work completely use it with theraseal. Both are great and meant to work together. Can be bought over the counter. I think bi mart has them or can order them for you.
Get a salt/foot scrub, they work really well!
Follow that up with a shea butter lotion!
Hope your hands get softer!
Good Luck!
Try these products, they have worked for my hubby in the past
Badger Balm (available at Bath and Body Works or Cracker Barrel restaurants)
Using Lava soap once a day before bed and coating with a heavy moisturizer
the new Lubriderm lotion with a gold cap/pump
And be sure to wear gloves whenever you can!
My family owns a roofing company and Christmas Tree farm so most of my family (who work in the family biz) have rough hands. We all have our own remedies for dry hands. I swear by Aveda Hand Remedy. It’s a really thick hand cream and it works really well. You may not like it because it has kind of a citrus like smell and it’s kind of expensive. My dad and uncle swear by Vaseline. My aunts and grandma swear by this stuff called “bag balm” which is actually for chapped cow udders. It works really well, but it reeks like menthol. Then there’s my grandpa who has been working longer than any of us (he’s 78 and still works everyday!) and he uses something called “Corn huskers lotion” It works well, but not as well as the bag balm or aveda hand cream. I think he likes it because it’s not greasy (and trust me everything else I listed besides the corn huskers lotion is greasy)
get a foot pumus stone and after you shower just use that or in the shower and just press hard and rub on your hands with it and wash it out make sure to keep it clean otherwise its nasty and then use vaseline on them and a mixture of it and baby oil a tiny bit of baby oil and put on gloves like soft ones before bed and keep them on all night and just keep putting lotion on them and using the pumus stone
