Quick way to trim a turning blank
First of my trips and tricks for woodworkers. It’s a lot easier to turn a blank to round from an 8 sided blank then 4 sided one. This tip is a quick and easy way to trim a square turning blank to eight sides.

Great tip. Although I don’t have a lathe (yet ;-) It’s handy for lots of other things. What kind of remote system do you use for your dust collection? That’s my next purchase and would like some input on how you like yours…..Mark
